Alt-rock singer and songwriter Tilian Pearson incorporates elements of electropop into lush, melodic rock anthems under his solo moniker, Tilian. After founding the post-hardcore group Tides Of Man in the late 2000s, he took the lead vocalist role in the psychedelic, screamo powerhouse, Dance Gavin Dance in 2012. Since then, he has maintained a parallel solo career, releasing three studio albums with supplemental EPs and singles along the way. His latest album, The Skeptic, blends genres of dream pop, post hardcore and alternative with Tilian's signature raspy vocal finesse, offering more streamlined and direct lyrical themes than we have become accustomed to when listening to Dance Gavin Dance.
