220 Kid Joins Forces With Singer-Songwriter Jem Cooke On New Single ‘Another Life’

Two time BRIT award nominated artist and platinum selling producer 220 Kid today returns with his latest single, this time in the form of ‘Another Life’, his eagerly awaited first release of 2022 and featuring rising singer-songwriter Jem Cooke. ‘Another Life’ is released via Polydor Records, stream and download, here.
Speaking of the single, 220 Kid said “having the opportunity to collaborate with artists I love and admire is why I do what I do. I've long been a fan of Jem’s music so I am really happy we were able to make ‘Another Life’ happen. The last two weeks have been a whirlwind for me, attending my second BRITs, this time for my second nomination for ‘Song of The Year’, and this week releasing a track I’ve been so excited to put out into the world are how I’ve only dreamed of starting the year, I hope everyone loves listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it”.
One of the UK’s most in demand dance-pop producers and true to form, ‘Another Life’ packs both a floor filler bass, juxtaposed with an emotive hair raising vocal from Jem, collectively it transports the listener on a journey with lyrics that are deeply personal whilst underpinned with a progressive and uplifting beat.
With authentic and meaningful collaboration at the heart of much of his music, 220Kid has collaborated with the likes of JC Stewart, Becky Hill, Nathan Evans, Billen Ted, GRACEY, Brynn Christopher and Dillon Francis.
Despite only bursting onto the scene two years ago with his breakout hit ‘Don’t Need Love’ featuring GRACEY which later landed him a nomination for Best British Single at last years BRITs, last week saw 220 Kid return to the BRITs red carpet, this time nominated in the Song of The Year category in partnership with Mastercard for his inimitable chart topping single ‘Wellerman’ featuring Nathan Evans and Billen Ted which famously knocked Drake off the number 1 spot.
An artist that firmly believes in the power of using his music and platform to help others, 220 Kid has teamed up with jewellery designer Hannah Martin to redesign his 2022 BRIT award nomination into a bespoke pendant in order to raise money for the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity.
