PALAYE ROYALE CONFIRMED TO SUPPORT YUNGBLUD ON 2022 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
NEW SINGLE & VIDEO PARANOID OUT NOW
Electrifying trio Palaye Royale are confirmed to support YUNGLBUD on an extensive 2022 North American tour. The 29-date outing kicks off in Athens, Georgia on January 26th and hits major markets including Atlanta, Nashville, Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and many more. Fiercely dynamic on stage, Palaye Royale consists of brothers Remington Leith (vocals), Sebastian Danzig (guitar) and Emerson Barrett (drums). Tickets for the 2022 tour will have an artist presale on Tuesday, October 26th from 10am local – Thursday, October 28th 10pm local, as well as a Spotify Presale on Wednesday October 27th from 10am local to Thursday, October 28th 10pm local, with tickets on-sale to the general public on Friday, October 29th at 12pm local time.
Palaye Royale have entered a chapter of their boldest and most visionary work to date, written during lockdown, with the three classically trained musicians returning to their roots, composing most of their new music on piano. Their evolution has resulted in a forward-thinking collision of art-punk, glam-rock and Britpop. Their most recent single "Paranoid" released earlier this month has been tapped as one of BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Records of the Week.
Over the summer they unveiled the adrenaline-fueled “No Love In LA,” and “Punching Bag,” made in collaboration with GRAMMY-nominated producer Chris Greatti (YUNGBLUD, Grimes, Poppy). “No Love In LA” is currently making waves at Alternative Radio, moving up the chart at #34, and was the 4th most added song in its first week ahead of the official impact date in the company of Twenty-One Pilots, Billie Eilish and Imagine Dragons. Watch the music video here and check out the video “Punching Bag” here. Showing their unadorned musicality, they also released an acoustic version of “No Love in LA.”
The LA-based outfit played a home-town, packed headline sold-out show at The Wiltern Theatre on Oct 1st, followed by a raucous show as part of LA Fashion Week (LAFW) at the bi-annual Cars & Fashion Gala on October 7th. Critics have also taken notice; the band has been praised by the likes of American Songwriter who raved there’s “a lot of amazing things going on underneath the surface,” while SPIN proclaimed, “among all of the rock bands to capture the ears and hearts of the younger generations, few have done it better than the three brothers in Palaye Royale.”
Having worked their way up through the ruthless L.A. rock scene while briefly living out of their car, Palaye Royale later found themselves playing arenas with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Stone Sour. The band caught the attention of rock royalty early on such as Courtney Love, Scott Weiland, and Kim Fowley (the infamous producer/manager of the legendary Runaways). At the urging of another esteemed fan—Alex Burdon, daughter of Eric Burdon of The Animals—the band scored a deal with Sumerian Records in 2015, and made their full-length debut Boom Boom Room (Side A)in 2016 (produced by James Iha of Smashing Pumpkins), followed by 2020’s The Bastards. They’ve since amassed over 345 million streams, 30 million+ YouTube views and 1.7 million monthly Spotify listeners. Their social following between the band and its individual members is at almost 2 million across platforms and growing. They’ll be revealing more new singles/videos from their upcoming 2022 album over the course of this fall.
