Goodbye June Release Brand New Album 'See Where The Night Goes'

February 18, 2022

Punctuating the release of their new album 'See Where The Night Goes', which is out now via Earache Records, Goodbye June have released a brand new track “Breathe And Attack”. Listen here.

A muscular track of momentous duo guitars from Tyler Baker and Brandon Qualkenbush, gang vocals and a call-and-response chorus tailor-made for the live realm, with frontman Landon Milbourn's trademark head-turning vocal range leading the charge, “Breathe And Attack” is a welcome addition to the arsenal of rock anthems that have been released from 'See Where The Night Goes'.

““Breathe And Attack” was one of the first songs that came together in the garage during COVID. It really has a raw 3-piece energy that you can feel in your bones,” say the band of the track. “When we were going through which songs we wanted to record for this record, Paul listened to about 10 seconds of our demo for “Breathe And Attack” and simply said 'we’re cutting this one'.”

“A JTM 45 and a ‘61 LesPaul, that’s the magic combo on “Breathe And Attack”,” reveals Tyler.

A song predicated in self-belief, “Breathe And Attack” expresses the determined soul that the band hold that ultimately made the creation of'See Where The Night Goes' possible, following the challenges they've faced so far this decade, including the darkness of the COVID-19pandemic and the destruction of the Nashville tornado of 2020.

“When COVID hit, it was going to be a big year where everything had come together with our headlining shows and also supporting big acts, and when COVID hit it wiped everything clean. We had nothing,” says Tyler. “But we decided to set up a rehearsal space in my garage. That three-piece that we discovered in the garage again, translated into 'See Where The Night Goes' and it created a powerful record.”

'See Where The Night Goes' is out now worldwide and is available to order on signed, limited edition coloured vinyl, black vinyl and CD at smarturl.com/goodbyejune
