Shelter Music Group Expands, Adds Tyson Haller as SVP, Promotion & Artist Strategy

Shelter Music Group has announced the expansion of its management company, starting with the appointment of Tyson Haller as SeniorVice President, Promotion and Artist Strategy, the addition of new managers and new artist signings.

The news follows Shelter Music’s recent international expansion via a new partnership with AYITA to bolster the company’s artist management division, increasing its management roster to include 107 clients, overseen by 42 employees with offices in Los Angeles, Nashville and London, helmed by the executive team of Carl Stubner (CEO), Brian Harris Frank (COO) and Dino Paredes (President).

Tyson Haller has been appointed Senior Vice President,Promotion and Artist Strategy, joining the company from Concord Recorded Music, where he was Senior Vice President, Head of Promotion. His over 20 years of experience includes positions at ADA, where he was SVP, Promotion & Label Services, and promotion roles at EastWest, Virgin and Elektra. Based in New York City, Haller further expands Shelter’s geographic footprint. “Bringing in an executive like Tyson is an important step for our company in furthering our commitment to our clients by providing the highest level of service. We are thrilled to have him on our team and look forward to his contributions. The company also expanded their London office by adding Marco Gattinoni to their partnership with AYITA. He brings his clients including HoneyLuv, Hayley May, Guz, Stevie Appleton and others.

In addition, Clay Busch was promoted to Vice President, Brand Partnerships and has relocated to Shelter’s Nashville office, further expanding that team. Busch’s recent work with the company includes a ZZ Top whisky collaboration with Balcones, a partnership between Fred Minnick andTotal Wine, and more.

In terms of the client roster, Shelter is proud to announce several new artist signings including Des Rocs, Austin Meade, Japanese alternative metal band SiM, and Micky James.

On July 22, Shelter Records will release ZZ Top’s RAW, featuring the final recordings of the band’s original lineup, which is the companion soundtrack to the Grammy nominated documentary, That Little Ol’ Band From Texas. In 2021, BMG and global investment firm KKR announced that they had acquired entire music interests of American rock icons, ZZ Top. Shelter Records also recently signed Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and multiple Grammy winner, Stewart Copeland, for a new project to be released in 2023.
